Turn painted surfaces into a bug-free zone.
Bug Juice is a paint additive designed to control a range of insects but is especially effective on crawling insects such as spiders, ants and cockroaches around residential, commercial and rural properties.
Unlike non-residual insect sprays that stop working within 24 hours, Bug Juice leaves a long-lasting residual barrier on treated surfaces. As insects come into contact with the treatment they are controlled, helping to reduce reinfestation and provide ongoing protection.
The advanced formulation is suitable for application around building exteriors, doors, windows, garages, sheds, fences, patios and other areas where insects live or enter your property. Suitable for use around homes, commercial buildings, lifestyle blocks, farms and other outdoor structures.
Bug Juice is supplied as a concentrate that mixes with water-based paint or water-based stains, making it an economical and effective solution for treating large areas. It’s professional-strength formula lasts 8 times longer than other residual methods* and treats 10 litres of paint.

Technical Information
Bug Juice contains Deltamethrin, a professional-grade synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that provides long-lasting residual control of spiders, ants, cockroaches, earwigs, silverfish and a wide range of other crawling insect
Unlike many household insect sprays that provide only short-term knockdown, Deltamethrin remains active on treated surfaces, allowing insects to pick up a lethal dose as they move across the treated area. This provides ongoing protection and helps reduce reinfestation.
When applied in accordance with the label directions, Bug Juice is designed to remain effective for up to two years, and potentially longer, depending on the surface, environmental conditions and level of exposure.
Active Ingredient
- Active Ingredient: Deltamethrin
- Chemical Group: Synthetic Pyrethroid
- Target Pests: Spiders, ants, cockroaches, flies and other common crawling insects
How It Works
Deltamethrin acts on the insect's nervous system, causing rapid paralysis and eventual death. Its residual properties allow insects to be controlled after contacting treated surfaces, making it highly effective for long-term preventative pest management.
Environmental Performance
Residual performance is influenced by environmental conditions including weather exposure, surface type and temperature. During periods of high temperatures, some insects—particularly flying insects—may remain active for longer before the insecticide takes full effect. Crawling insects generally receive a higher exposure as they remain in contact with treated surfaces for longer periods.
When dry, treated surfaces are safe for normal contact when used in accordance with the product label.
